The San Diego Ducks A team traveled to New York on December 4-7, 2025 to represent the Anaheim Ducks and compete in the 15th Annual USA Hockey Sled Classic presented by the NHL. This year’s Classic was the first time the team competed in the highly competitive Tier 1.

The team learned a lot and stayed positive throughout the whole weekend, even though the win/loss columns didn’t stack up the way they hoped. Lera was an impact player in the Women’s showcase game, too!

Eddie Cahill, the actor who played the goalie in the movie “Miracle,” spent a day hanging out with the team, and he loved watching our games.
